How long has VHG been in business?

VHG has been in business delivering training for industry since 1996, and formed a Private Training Establishment in 2001 to comply with NZQA requirements.

Who are VHG?

VHG are a group of qualified, passionate service providers who have come from industry, have extensive industry knowledge, speak the language, are true professionals, and want to give back to industry what industry has given them.

VHG people all operate with the same vision, practice the same values, and strive to deliver high quality services to industry.

Who are Vertical Horizonz Groups Trainers?

Vertical Horizonz Group trainers are NZQA approved, are accredited Workplace Assessors, and many hold a NZ Certificate in Adult Teaching. They operate under a robust Quality Management System, often exceeding ITO registered assessor standards and are audited regularly. Trainer’s expertise is workplace based.

They hold professional qualifications, industrial experience, and pre-training site-specific knowledge ensuring a high standard of course delivery.

How many staff are involved?

VHG has over 40 trainers operating throughout New Zealand in a variety of different disciplines. We also have 9 Administration Staff and 8 Senior Managers for the Group.

Is VHG an accredited and registered NZQA Private Training Establishment (PTE)?

VHG is an industry training organisation within the meaning of the Education Amendment Act 1990 for the delivery and assessment of NZQA unit standards.

Can training subsidies be applied to VHG training?

Yes VHG has relationships with many Industry Training Organisations (ITO’s) and Polytechnics throughout New Zealand whom we are able to deliver* funded training and assessment on behalf of.
